It's that time of year again where the sales have come into play and let's face it, what better time than now for some retail therapy and to pick up a few bargains. From investing in classic pieces to selecting items that will last for all the seasons, I thought I would share my favourite pieces that I selected, along with my top tips for shopping the sales.

Every single item of La Redoute clothing is timeless and this long-double breasted coat is no exception. I'm all for the oversized look and this coat delivers just that. When pieces are oversized, I feel that it brings a more classic-chic look to the item, especially with outerwear. There's nothing better than buying a piece of clothing that you can wear all year around. For instance, this faux leather jacket works perfect as an extra layer over a polo neck jumper fastened under a coat for that elegant touch during those cold winter months or teamed up with an oversized t-shirt tucked into a pair of denim shorts during the summer months. You can literally wear this jacket all year around.
Shop all the accessories
You can't go wrong with accessories and this is where you will find me the most whilst shopping the sales. These flat patent ankle boots in burgundy are just gorgeous and again such a versatile item that can be worn all year round and can be paired nicely with a studded saddle shoulder bag.
