The Interview
Philippe Bertrand is categorical: "everything starts with the material, it's what inspires me, the cut comes second". It was with this idea in mind that the creator of Claramonte, who learned his trade at Lacroix and Gaultier, joined forces with Pierre Gionnet to create his label in 2005. Claramonte is making a name for itself through accessories and especially handbags with a folk spirit. It is an ode to Moroccan artisans and tribal crafts where braiding consolidates the brand's DNA.

A figurehead of the Claramonte house, the toile de Jouy is revisited in a naïve version on the blouse with XXL sleeves, which also takes on the appearance of basic chic when it is available in cotton voile. In a thick cotton canvas, the trousers retain their perfect drape, while the oversized dress is totally reinterpreted in a couture version with raglan sleeves and pleats. A jacquard clutch accessorizes the silhouette.
