Eid gift guide for home décor lovers

Although Ramadan only happens once a year, I always feel like it comes around really quickly (or maybe that’s my age talking, time didn’t fly quite so quickly when I was a kid)! Eid Al-Fitr which is the day of celebration to mark the end of Ramadan (usually celebrated by gathering with friends and family to eat delicious foods, and exchange money or presents) comes around even faster.

So, I always think it’s a great idea to start planning Eid celebrations and gifts in the early weeks when possible so you’re a little more prepared and aren’t adding unnecessary stress to your life when the big day arrives.

With that being said I’ve put together an Eid gift guide from La Redoute to help you find the perfect presents for your friends and/or loved ones who are passionate about interior design/homemaking. When choosing home décor gifts, I think it’s important to be mindful of the recipients’ personal style, as well as how that gift will function in their home.

Luckily, La Redoute has tons of in trend home décor options for you to choose from at different price points and styles. From designer mugs to simple home accessories that will elevate all types of interiors

Here are my top 10 favourite products.

1. Serving Tray
You can’t go wrong with a serving tray as it has a multitude of ways it can be used around the home. This serving tray is crafted from renewable rattan and has a modern natural and black finish.

2. Marble Coasters
I love the two -tone effects of these coasters and feel the designs would work in most home styles.

3. Floral Flower Pot
Perfect for someone keen to bring a little of the outside in via greenery (which can be real or fake depending on how green their thumbs are). The bright flowery pattern on the outside is just what you need for a spring update!

4. Tall Gold Rimmed Glasses

I can picture these tall gold rimmed glasses on a gorgeously styled alfresco dinner table scape. There’s going to be a lot more hosting this year, which is why I think these would make the perfect gift.

5. Raoul Throw
A throw is classic home staple. This one comes in five different colours, and has a beautiful black embroidered edging for just the right amount of modern texture.

6. Soy Wax Candle
Nothing says self-care quite like a double wicked candle, right? And better still when that candle also looks great and works as a home accessory too!

7. Sira Ceramic vase
This artisan vase can be used as a statement décor piece all on its own, or styled with some fresh or dried flowers/stems.

8. Scalloped Rug
Scallops are certainly all the rage at the minute, and I think this handwoven rug is a great way to incorporate this trend into your home in a timeless fashion. Because it’s made from jute, it is both durable and resistant for high traffic areas – something to consider If the person you are gifting to has young children and/or pets.

9. Speckled Cake Stand
This cake stand makes a striking centrepiece for a kitchen counter or table scape thanks to its bold black speckled pattern.

10. Swan Coffee Machine
It’s very rare to find kitchen appliances that look stylish AND do a great job of what they’re intended to do. Although this beautifully designed, Scandi-inspired Nordic Espresso Machine might be a little steeper price wise, I think its definitely worth it for that special someone in your life who appreciates good design and a good cup of coffee.
