Simple Living
Make Your Bedroom a Sanctuary
It’s always been important to us that our bedroom feels like a sanctuary. As my typical style is quite maximalist, I love closing the door to settle down for the evening and feeling transported to a space so different from the other rooms we’ve created -simple living at its finest. La Redoute always offers a really good selection of quality pieces that will stand the test of time.
Opting for linen bed sheets in solids as opposed to prints is a really easy way to inject some hotel-luxe into your spaces. I go for muted tones and I mix and match flat sheets and pillows for an effortlessly cool look. Gone are the days of matching bedding -gone are the days of ironing your bedding too!
Continuing with the linen theme, these Colin pure linen cotton curtains are worth their weight in gold to me -heavy enough to block out enough light for a peaceful sleep, but appear so light and breezy so I don’t find myself swapping them out in winter months.

Creating a Simply Natural Feel in the Bedroom
Our bedroom leads onto a little terrace space and I love that in warmer months, I can transition the Isidor Ecru rug outdoors as well without worrying about a little light rain. It teams perfectly with our Bregnac hammock -that tucks into our bedroom corner so beautifully in the cooler months and follows us out to the terrace when the sun is shining.
