Men's guide to creating a WFH wardrobe

In 2020 everything has changed. From the way we work, to the way we eat, to the way we socialise with each other. In two months the UK workforce has gone from getting up every morning, getting ready and then travelling to work to lots of working from the comforts of our own home.

Now for men, it is all too common for us to get out of bed and put something comfortable on (that we may end up wearing for the rest of the day!) and start working. However, in hindsight this is not the best way to go forward. To get into a true rhythm of working, you need outfits that differentiate from when you are working to when you are not.

Here's some ideas for the men out there on what's best when it comes to your WFH wardrobe.

Our first suggestion for you is this 100% cotton polo shirt with a teddy collar. Now with the temperature rising and the days getting warmer as we head towards summer, you will need something to keep you cool, but also keep you comfortable as you work.  This Cotton polo shirt will be perfect for you. With two colours to choose from and the ability to team this up with some of the products we suggest below.

Our next suggestion is for those who are looking for something more traditional, that is still comfortable when working from home. We suggest this long sleeve 100% linen shirt. Something which will suit the season change, whilst looking just as smart as normal! This shirt is also the perfect way to separate your workwear and your loungewear.

 3. Cotton Short-Sleeved T-Shirt with Crew-Neck

The next items we suggest for your wardrobe when working from home is this cotton T–Shirt. Comfortable to wear, but also gives good summery vibes, as the season begins to change and the temperatures begin to rise.

Next to go with the shirts above how about some Chinos. The perfect trousers to wear when working from home which are both comfortable and casual. These trousers are the perfect way to style with any shirt you decide to way. Comfy to wear as they are made from cotton and will suit the changing weather, and they have added comfort with elasticated ankles.

Next something that is more casual but with the right shirt will make you look smart and give you the feeling that you are still at work - perfect for those video calls where you only need to look smart up top! For this we suggest these Puma Joggers. They are combatable as they come with an elasticated waist and because of the colour we believe they might even be able to pass as trousers!

7. Cropped Cotton Cargo Trouser Shorts

And finally, for those who want to keep it more casual and while still being comfortable while working from home these cropped cotton cargo trouser shorts are the ones for you. These shorts give the look of trousers and are perfect as they give the vibe of you still being at work as they differentiate from shorts you would wear when not working.
