    Zermatt Standard Slippers, charcoal, BIRKENSTOCK

    The Zermatt is the first Birkenstock slipper with a removable footbed. This means it's compatible with two styles of sole: the Standard footbed and the Shearling footbed. The soles are available separately.
    In short, the ideal shoe for all year round! The version shown here features our Standard footbed. Inspired by natural footprints left in the sand, it provides all-day comfort. The upper is made of soft wool felt.

      Uncomfortable woollen top

      Bought as a Christmas present for my daughter. Had they been for me I would have returned as the woollen top of the slippers are uncomfortable and would require socks for comfort.

      Great slippers NARROW FIT

      This was the second pair of Birkenstock Zermatt I ordered. Both pairs came as narrow fit and had to be returned. There was nothing to indicate this on the website, and I even phoned up customer services to check the second pair would be standard fit, but they also came narrow. Word of warning for people who need standard fit. The solid black footprint on the footbed indicates narrow fit. An outline footprint means standard.

      Lovely high quality, comfortable slippers

      Excellent product delivered promptly. Size is true to normal show size, fit is excellent. The quality and design are both outstanding and I don't think I'll ever buy different slippers again!
