Ronda Vintage-Style Desk, walnut wood, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The desk looks perfect and is so good for the price, especially in the sale too. It was easy to assemble and the parts fit together perfectly.

I bought this desk based on the colour in the above picture but when it arrived, I started to unpack a couple of the pieces which were a lot darker than the pictures so I found the imagery misleading. Unfortunately I have returned this desk.

This is a beautiful desk, it has a lovely finish and would suit many different styles of decor.

It has plenty of storage, although some space behind the drawer isnt being fully utilised- perhaps an opportunity for a secret compartment or to drill holes and hide unsightly wires.

The instructions werent super clear, hence I've knocked 1 star. Especially compared to a similar desk I purchased from La Redoute for a similar price which came pretty much made minus the legs.

I am so happy with my new desk it looks great the materials are a really nice quality, especially considering how affordable it was and it was very simple to put together.

Well made and easy to put together but! Have you tried putting the top on? Grips to grab metal pins are underneath the desk top! Unless you’re a mouse with a small hand and screwdriver it’s a design flaw! Had to be very creative in putting last bit together. Great product though!

I purchased this as I thought it had a cool retro style and looked sturdy enough for my daily use when working from home.

Little did I know that a "simple" desk with only one drawer would prove the so difficult to put together. The worst were the leg hinges, were I was supposed to screw in 24 screws that didn't have the guide holes, which means that I had to struggle and curse even with an electrical screwdriver.

Anyway I will probably come back and edit once I start using it in earnest.
