These late summer days and nights can be tricky to dress for – a chill is beginning to set in and days are getting shorter. Here, Hayley from FrockMeI’mFamous shares her edit of the best buys to see you through this season and beyond in to Autumn.
I love a pop-on dress, it’s really a complete outfit in one item, and this one has all I need to create a pulled-together look so easily. The polka dot print is a classic that I never tire of, while the prairie style collar adds something so fresh and new.
While it’s great to have a dressy look, I also like to mix it up and here, by pairing with another classic – the denim jacket, I feel like it gets that high- low look that I love.
Another fab pattern that will see me through to autumn is gingham. I absolutely love it in summer in pastel shades, but this monochrome version will look just as chic in winter with a black sweater as it does now with a simple vest.
Again, the denim jacket comes in to its own when the air gets colder!
