How to add a touch of Luxe and Glamour trend by @nest_twenty_eight

Lucinda Mitra of @nest_twenty_eight loves to explore new and interesting trends and show how they work in the contemporary home. A lover of rustic, Scandi and industrial style, here, she shares her fondness for a bit of Luxe and Glamour in the home.

Luxe and Glamour

Do you sometimes find that you can’t always put your finger on what a room is missing to give it that ‘wow factor’? Have you considered warming the tones in your home? I decided to give my bathroom a mini-refresh with some new, glamorous accessories from La Redoute and I love the result!

When it comes to giving your room a refresh I find that by starting with larger items and working down to the finer details is best in ensuring that the overall aesthetic isn’t clashing and overbearing. Rather, it should look harmonious and effortless.

Decorate decadently

With the ‘Luxe and Glamour’ trend from La Redoute, you can give instant radiance with rich metallics, such as brass accents dotted around with the Uyova mirror, Pikoa wire framed basket and Strakaza brass birds, and to counteract this, you can soften the overall look with pampas grass and dried Billy Buttons, marrying the whole look together.

Let there be light

Lighting and wall art can really soften the mood at home and even in a small bathroom, this Ulan walllight can create a personal and interesting space.

Compliment the textures

When it comes to candles, be bold by moving away from classic whites to darker hues for an extra luxe impact that complements the black in the Organic framed posters.

Opulent design shouldn’t solely be reserved for seasonal times of year; it can be embraced all year round and as demonstrated by my bathroom, can even be incorporated in the smallest, and perhaps less thought of spaces for beautiful décor.
