N°406 Ankle Boots in Smooth Leather, black, RIVECOUR

I bought one pair of these boots and had to return them because the leather started flaking off when I tried them on. I contacted customer services (who were great and helped me to order another pair as they said it might have just been that pair that was faulty). However, the leather on the second pair did exactly the same thing. I’m not convinced that these are actually made from leather because I’ve never seen leather do this. It’s a shame because the shape of the boots is good, but they are just so poor quality it’s not worth keeping them.
