    Soft linen but cheap fonishing

    I've bought this same duvet in the last and no issues. This is basically one big piece of fabric with only two seams (top and one side), and buttons on the bottom

    Usually there's finishing /enclosure at the bottom that holds the duvet in at the edges and then buttons in the middle (this is hard to describe!) but this one just has buttons. It feels like the duvet is poking out at the edges, straining the buttons. And those buttons are loosely sewn on, leaving tons of trails of thread. I'd be surprised if I am not renewing buttons after the first wash

    Also note: this is 240cm wide and a standard UK long duvet is 230 cm wide. I REALLY wish la redoute would start labeling as euro or UK. Luckily for a duvet cover it's not a huge deal but I almost bought a bed frame they labeled as King before the reviews told me it's not a UK king! Buyer beware.

    Feels gorgeous

    I had wanted a linen duvet cover for ages, my husband couldn’t believe how much linen costs. But I bought it in the sale and he has said on numerous occasions how nice it is to sleep under. Such a nice weight and a lovely temperature.
