      First thoughts ok, but doesn’t last

      I would have reviewed this table as ok when I first received it. I was a little disappointed with the quality as I have the kitchen cabinet in the same range and the top is much nicer and visibly different. There was a few rough patches when first received and after only 7 months the wood is splitting and raising. It also scratches very easily.

      Nice solid table but beware

      Once finished assembling the table is good and sturdy but it’s really easy to lose your screws in the frame due to the design (big hole, short screw and no seals around it). Took me about an hour to pry out my screws once they fell in. Also came missing 4 screws to begin with so that’s not great. Glad it was on sale otherwise would be annoyed.

      Beautiful table

      Looks great but instructions could be clearer!

      First of all love the table, and the bench that comes with it - it looks great. However when we received it we began putting it together and there were no holes to screw the table top into the frame. We checked with La Redoute and after a couple of days we were told that you have to screw the directly into the wood which is obviously unusual and can cause the wood to split (fortunately it didn't in our case but the message that came back advised us to be careful of this - bit weird!). The instructions re this really need to be clearer!

      OK table

      Bought the bench with this table. I could have went with the larger version . This table is OK for a family of 4 but for a family of 6 it may be a snuggled fit. It's was hard to assemble the screws provided we're too large for the table. Overall once assembled it looked as expected.
