      Paint is completely inadequate for table top

      We were excited to receive the table, it is large, lovely shape and really heavy which is a good sign of quality.

      However, when getting it out of the box and building it we discovered the paint effect leaves huge scratches from the lightest of use. Simply putting a glass down and it moving laterally would like marks, let along cutlery.

      As a high use object, we expected a huge amount more.

      We love the shape and build, but the paint is terrible meaning we now have to pay more to get it resprayed. Not great La Redoute, not great.

      The whole family is sad and even our dog is upset.

      Despite the appearance and size being perfect I would advise against purchasing. I have bought several other metal items from the Hiba range that have lasted years without a single scratch. However this metal is coated differently and within the first few days scratches were appearing. I am incredibly sad as the price tag does not reflect this.

      Amazing table

      I bought this table on the La Redoute UK app a few weeks ago, and it's truly amazing.

      Super easy to put together & adds a true edge to the room.

      Great quality, super spacious without taking too much space (weird I know), but super thrilled with this purchase!
