I bought these gorgeous boots a couple of weeks ago and I totally love them! Most Doc Martens need lots of wearing in but these were lovely and comfortable from first wear! ( lucky me, no blisters) They were delivered very quickly and I’m delighted with them! Le Redoubt is a great company to shop with and I’m happy to recommend them!

Ordered these to wear as "nice footwear. Sadly, they're not as comfy underfoot as I was hoping. I have some properly vintage Docs (bought in the late 1990s). Those needed replacing, so I thought I'd try these. As noted, the sole on these just isn't as bouncy and comfy as my old ones, so returning these. I also have wide feet, so inevitably size up with DMs. My old ones are a 5. These are a 6, and the fit was still quite snug. Only just room to wiggle the toes as one is supposed to be able to do in properly fitting footwear. Also: why do so many DMs arrives in plain cardboard boxes? They should be in the branded box, surely?

I bought these as I'm a docs gal at heart but wanted something not too masculine and these are perfect
