The fanny pack of our childhood is making a comeback, and is now available from the big names in leather goods and fashion for both men and women.

Let's not forget that the fanny pack was the faithful companion of our school outings and trips. We'd slip in a few coins, a packet of tissues or even a pen, and we'd be ready to board the bus under the worried gaze of our parents, but with the bag firmly fastened around our waists.

Let's face it, we didn't think this practical but not very elegant bag would ever find a place of honor in our closets again. But we didn't count on the big names like Vuitton, Longchamp and Lacoste, who decided to breathe new life into the long-abandoned women's fanny pack.

However, if you want to wear a fanny pack in style, you absolutely must match it with a casual chic outfit and give it a contrast that will make it stand out. Avoid wearing it on your belly with jeans or jogging pants if you don't want to look like a camper or boy scout.
