I am a big New Balance fan but have typically worn various models of the 990 or 99X series. I liked the style of the 530 and wanted to give it a try, but I’m sorry to say these are a disappointing pair. The fit is tight and uncomfortable in the arch and toe box. Sizing up may help some but inspecting the proportions in person makes me think the problem would persist even in a larger size. The quality is not what you get in a higher-end New Balance. I expected as much but was still disappointed in the cheap feel and look of the materials. The tan suede has an unattractive pink/orange tint to it. I don’t recommend these.

The 530 shoes were comfortable from day one. The only negative just occurred last week. After wearing the shoes all day, the toe box padding at ball of foot seems to have flattened causing it to feel hardened (right & left shoe).

Is super pretty, and the price it was the best deal I ever taked
