    Kuchoma Burnt Mahogany Dish On Stand, black, AM.PM

    Inspired by the primitive art that celebrates the treasures of nature, this dish, shaped like a sea coconut, is a decorative object in its own right. Its texture is obtained using the technique of burning wood.
    A method that brings out the pattern in the wood and allows its grain to show through. First dried to stabilise it and prevent cracking, the wood is then burnt in a kiln, touched up with black paint and covered with a top coat to seal it.
