      Ran very small

      These boots are absolutely gorgeous and I was looking forward to rocking them this winter. Unfortunately, they ran very small and even with nylons were so tight I could not wear them. I have five other pairs of Timberland boots that I love and all are size 10 and fit well. Unfortunately, I had to return these, I would have exchanged for a 10.5 but they only come in a 10 and an 11 and I feared the 11s would be too big. My only bad sizing experience with this brand.

      Love these - but a bit squeaky on hardwood floors

      Very pretty and comfortable. The only downside is that they are noisy when walking on uncarpeted surfaces. You don't really notice it outside, but inside they're a bit loud. I'm hoping that the noise decreases once I have broken them in sufficiently.

      Soft, great heel

      Very cute streamlined durable boot that has a soft sole & great heel! I returned it only because it seemed narrow & I am looking for a shoe that doesn't squish my feet, after having bunion surgery. The leather probably would have stretched but the sole itself is narrower than my foot.

However the fit is odd: Very narrow at front across foot, yet very wide on the leg so you feel you're 'rattling around' at that part. But the ultimate decider for me to return, was the weight - One boot size 6 (39) weighs 684g. I had to consciously 'pick up' my feet as I did test walk in house. Sadly, returned. Visually: 5 stars! Practically, for me: 2
