    Review Summary

Good overall quality, with a fabric that is soft, supple and pleasant to the touch. The checked pattern and neat finish are appealing, as is the slight sheen and everyday comfort. Some reviews note, however, that the sizing is unreliable, the fabric creases easily, may pill, and the colour fades over time.

    Product Description

Victor Checkerboard Washed Cotton Satin Duvet Cover - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

This washed cotton satin bed linen comes in a palette of neutral colours. It has a tone-on-tone checkered pattern, elegant and fashionable.
It is underlined with a satin stitch finish for a small additional refinement,.
Cotton with an ultra-tight weave, washed cotton satin has a silky feel. It is washed for a more matte look than classic satin.

      Worth the money

I've ordered several products of the Victor line in different colours and renditions. They have become my favourite bedding. You may be surprised at first as you receive what you may not anticipate satin to be. But this is like old, good, broken-in fabric. Comfortable and pleasant after washing and delicious after ironing, especially for someone who likes to sleep naked like myself. (My only quibble would be the material and quality of the nylon embroidery. It makes ironing something of a "micro-surgical" operation if you don't want to ruin the fabric with black molten polyamid.)
