      The Real Deal!

      Quite simply this is the style I wanted in a jacket.

      It has that early 1900s look that I love.

      Quintessential corduroy, proper dark brown, great shape, lots of buttons, large pockets, vertical line down back.

      I purchased 3 sizes to allow for expansion of body size over time.

      When it eventually arrived it was great!

      This is a very nice jacket; perfect for transitional wear from summer to autumn and onwards. I bought the XL with the intention of layering it over sweatshirts/hoodies etc. I’m 5’10”, 11 1/2 stone with relatively broad shoulders and chest; the jacket is roomy and slightly oversized, which is what I wanted. For a more fitted look I could’ve gone for large, but this would’ve been snug over heavy jumpers etc. The only element which slightly marred the experience was the delay in dispatch from France, but tbh I’ve never had this problem with LaRedoute before so it was hopefully a one off. Overall, very happy with this buy.

      Exceptional jacket, perfect for smart casual.

      I was really impressed the the weight of the fabric used, coupled with a quality lining. Could be used as a casual jacket or an over shirt. I bought this in the sale and I will not find another jacket at this price range and quality. I highly rate the La Redoute collection clothing.

      Casual but chic

      Just received this and it's perfect. There was a delivery delay (Oh that we were still in E U) but all along the line La Redoute kept me informed and now all is well! A Christmas present for my son, it's waiting to be wrapped and presented. He began by asking for a Levi-style jacket but this as it hangs on its hanger looks much more stylish. Well cut and roomy, it is a good dark navy. I can't wait to see his face when he opens the parcel. What's more, I'm confident my daughter-in-law will approve. What more can a mother-in-law wish for?
