Size guide is WAY off

I've bought and returned this twice so far, bought for a 15 year old, and both the large and XL absolutely drowned him, the XL was more like a mens item than a kids fit. I had been concerned that as the kids range ends an at age 14 it might be on the small side but nope, at 15 it looks like a medium, which is an age 8-9, is going to fit
