I almost didn’t buy this after reading a number of negative reviews but it was the only one that met our requirements so went ahead.

The comments about instructions not being clear, panels not being marked, screws rotating and chewing wood made me smile as I started the build by reading through the instructions first, all are pictorial but one of the first is laying out and make sure you identify all components and also do not use a power tool to secure the screws.

I did this and easily identified all components.

I loved the fact the instructions prep every panel first, unlike some flat packs I’ve had and although it is soft wood, other than the back panels and drawer bases it is all solid wood, the drawer bases have wood support as well.

All the holes aligned perfectly for the build and the hinges for the doors gave enough adjustment to get them all aligned.

Overall this has ended up as a lovely solid unit, it just needed a little prep time and following the instructions each step.

Comes well packed in 3 boxes.

The wood panels are not marked at all so you need to very carefully go through each picture to make sure you get it right.

Fixings supplied are also not marked 100% correctly. The captive style nuts used to screw the locking pins in come loose and spin around inside the wood, so have some super glue handy.

My drawers were a different shade of white to the rest of the cupboard which is a bit annoying.

You might want to upgrade the length of screws to hang the doors as the screws provided seem like they will pull out of the wood. Bit wobbly side to side. I have had better flat pack furniture.

It is very pretty once put together though.

This cupbaord come in 3 packs. None of the items are labelled so you need to spend quite some time organising each piece before you start to assemble. The instructions are not accurate and not the best. The cupbaord is only laquered on the visible sides. the remaing sides are in a matt finish. The wood itself is quite soft. For the price I was expecting better quality. The fittings pack was a mess. The correct bit and bobs but the packs were mostly labelled incorrectly.

There are some good points about this unit. The wide drawers are supported in the middle so that you can place heavier items in drawer without base caving in over time. However, I had to make adjustments as the drawers once assembled did not align at all well.

Hanging the doors took me over an hour as I was totally baffled that I just coudl not adjust the hinges and at one point I was going to dismantle and return it. However, my daughter, my son and I perservered and we found that the pack of Hinges had 2 types of hinges. You would be shocked how they look identical but there is a very minor difference.

Eventually we did manage to build the cupbaord but was it value for money - I would say no. The paint is so fragile and the slightest knock will expose the chipbaord.

The height of the cupbaord was a key factor for us but had I seen this unit in a showroom I woudl not have purchased. I am very good at DIY and making up units. If you are not then you may need to get someone who has good experience.

Just moved into a new house and needed a shorter height wardrobe. Delighted when we saw this on line as it looked lovely and we managed to get it when there was money off. Brilliant! Or so we thought, and then it arrived.....

Now I love to assemble flat pack, I know it’s a strange thing to like but I do. I’ve assembled many wardrobe and drawer units over the years with zero problems. This wardrobe, however, was in a league of its own - and not in a good way. The instructions were rubbish. The quality of pieces were poor. When we finally managed to work out the instructions and build the wardrobe (this took HOURS) the doors don’t shut properly. It looks nice but it’s dreadful quality. And for the price we paid (even with the money off) I am not happy.

My advice if you are looking to order this product is DON’T DO IT!!! We were limited to what we could get due to a low height ceiling but if I’d known the hours it would take to build this and the poor quality it was going to be then I think I would have bought a running rail from somewhere else and made do.

This is an incredibly low quality product and is massively overpriced as a result.

I bought this for a coat and shoe cupboard for our hall. Ideal size as it don’t take up a lot of space. Great size for the grandchildren to be able to use.

We love this wardrobe now it is built. It is solid and will do exactly as we needed it to do. However the instructions are a nightmare to follow as none of the pieces numbered in the instructions actually have numbers on them, working out which piece was which was only possible by matching the holes for the screws. The screws themselves were not numbered on the packs which caused confusion as we built the wardrobe. It would be a great help if all pieces could be numbered as per the instructions.
