• The Esplar trainer is named after the Brazilian NGO which we have been working with since 2005. ESPLAR (Escritório de Planejamento e Assessoria Rural - The Rural Planning and Development Association) supports the organic farming families in the north-east region of the country.

• Cushioning: 100% EVA
• Sole: 100% rubber
• Vegetable tanning. Vegetable tanning avoids the use of toxic substances harmful to humans and the environment (chrome).
• Leather from environmentally-certified tanneries. Leather Working Group (LWG) certification is an internationally recognised certification which assesses the environmental performance of tanneries (covering energy and water consumption, waste water, air emissions etc.)..
