      Pleasantly Surprised

      Found the perfect item of furniture at this store. Had no prior knowledge of La Redoute, checked reviews and was concerned to say the least, but the item and price were perfect, and negative comments seemed to only be about after-sales, so I decided to risk it.

      Unfortunately, the item arrived damaged, so I was a bit worried I was in for a challenge. However, no problems occurred.

      I called in and spoke to an adviser in minutes. They asked me to e-mail photos. Later that day I received an update they had queried with their supplier.

      The next day the supplier got in touch and asked me to choose a date to collect the faulty item and deliver a replacement.

      The delivery company provided a short delivery window the day before visiting, called when they were an hour away, and then turned up as expected and were friendly and helpful. The replacement item is perfect and feels like good value for money.

      Very impressed.
