    Tawi Trinket On Base in Burnt Teak, black, AM.PM

    Stylized, sublimated nature. Like a totem, this sculpture represents the quintessence of a palm, in all its simplicity. Its texture has been obtained using the burnt wood technique, which magnifies the wood by revealing its grain.
    First dried to stabilise it and prevent cracking, the wood is then burnt in a kiln, touched up with black paint and covered with a top coat to seal it.
