      Perfect if it would have been knee length…

      I love this trench coat but had to shorten it to knee length and now it looks right. LR used to sell a very similar style which was knee length - change just for the sake of it?

      Not as well made as I would have thought

      I do like this trench coat but was disappointed by the loose, baggy badly stitched lining which seemed to let it down. Never had this before so not sure if I should return and ask for a replacement but probably will as even at half price I expected better.

      Ordered the size S as it said oversized and I usually wear most things oversized and it fitted just right. I'm 5ft 6 and size 10-12.

      Nice external colour

      Lovely khaki green colour. The lining is a blue and white plaid design which is a bit irksome.

      Really good overall fit.

      How great to work this look!

      The fabric sways with movement which I love as I am quite tall, and it is exciting to have a garment that appears simply chic. I sized down as recommended by La Redoute, for a more classic fit. There appears to be a quality, much thought and inspiration in the

      making and design which I appreciate, such as the choice of coordinating a suitable cotton lining, the much welcomed and unusual deep pockets, and overall length measurement from shoulder to hem. Purchased to wear for travelling to a Spring occasion and then beyond, i will enjoy the versatility of this particular design teaming and layering different looks to suit my mood and circumstance.
