Cottage Yellow Cotton Seersucker Duvet Cover, yellow, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

I purchased two single-size duvet covers from La Redoute because I had heard many positive reviews about the brand's bedding quality.

Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. Upon delivery, there was a noticeable amount of dust and loose fibers inside the packaging. I cleaned the duvet covers immediately according to the care instructions on the label before first use.

After the first wash, when I inserted the duvet, I noticed a hole in one of the covers. I cannot say with certainty whether it was already there when delivered or whether it appeared during the first wash, but either way, this is unacceptable. Bedding should not develop holes after a single wash when the care instructions have been followed correctly.

Shortly afterwards, I discovered several additional small holes clustered in one area of the second duvet cover as well. At that point, both items had already been washed and used, making a return or exchange impractical.

Considering the price of this bedding, I expected significantly better quality and durability. The design, colour and overall appearance are beautiful, which makes the situation even more frustrating. The fabric simply does not match the quality standards I expected from La Redoute.

I had originally planned to purchase another bedding set from this brand, but after this experience I decided to buy elsewhere. It's a real shame, because aesthetically the bedding is lovely, but the quality has been a major disappointment.
