      The colors are not consistent with other accessories and dishes.

      I love my Spode Christmas Tree accessories that go with my dishes, but the colors on these placemats are off. Things that should be red and are red on other Christmas Tree items look purple on the placemats. I cannot use the coasters that I have next to them because they absolutely clash. I was very very disappointed in the quality control of this item.

      Just What I Was Looking For

      These are exactly what I was looking for. We host Christmas brunch for the family, and last year I bought some melamine dishes in this pattern. I thought it would be more decorative, and more eco friendly to have one set of dishes instead of the throwaway plates we had been using. I looked for the placemats, but they were not available. So glad I found these. They will look nice on the dinner table. I have not opened them up yet, but I can see the top piece in each package.
