    Review Summary

501® Original straight jeans appreciated for their classic, fitted cut, timeless style and the quality of their thick cotton denim, which is comfortable and authentic. However, several customers note inconsistent sizing: they may run large, be too loose in the legs or tight at the waist, with a sometimes less flattering shape and a colour slightly different from the photo.

    501® Original Straight Jeans - LEVI'S

Close your eyes. Think "jeans". Now open them. They were 501® Originals, right?
With a classic straight leg and iconic look, they’re literally the blueprint for every pair of jeans in existence: burned into the world’s collective cortex ever since Levi Strauss (the man himself!) introduced them back in 1873. To this day they've never gone out of style. And they never will.

      Runs small

Runs small no stretch so it's best to go up a size or two

      Best fitting jeans

I started wearing them back in the late 70's

      Quality does not get old!

      Beautiful deep blue colour

Beautiful deep blue colour, excellent fit as usual. I used the same size as for other jeans I bought from Levi's. Just make sure you realise it is high rise, so it's up to the belly button.

      Cool jeans

Loved these jeans, but are smaller fit than 501 90s jeans so had to return them. That was so easy.

      Great depth front pockets

Unfortunately I had to return the original 501s I ordered as I've been wearing my Levis with some stretch in them for so long, I forgot how unforgiving original 501 are. One thing I did notice is they have decent depth front pockets, wish this was the case in other womens Levis styles.
