Firm Control Shorts, natural, MAIDENFORM

I bought three pairs of these "booty lift" shorts, starting with a size small. After wearing the first pair just once, I noticed holes developing—one in the thigh area and another around the booty. Thinking the size small might not be the right fit, I purchased a medium, hoping for a more durable option. However, just two days after wearing the second pair, another hole appeared.

The quality of these shorts is extremely disappointing. The mesh around the thighs and buttocks is incredibly thin and doesn’t seem to hold up to normal wear. At this point, I'm frustrated that all three pairs ended up with holes so quickly, making them a total waste of money.

Pros:

The design is flattering, but that’s about it.

Cons:

Poor material quality: Thin mesh that tears easily.

Fast wear and tear: Holes appeared after minimal use in both pairs.

Sizing issues: Switching sizes didn’t solve the durability problem.

Overall, I would not recommend these shorts to anyone. They’re not built to last, and for the price, you’re better off investing in something more durable.

I was so excited for these and so disappointed! They got a hole next to the seam on my booty, on the first try! I agree with another bad review that says the booty lift leaves a weird dent and doesn’t seem to lift. My booty, with nothing, looks more round and lifted than these left them. They actually misshape my booty. Such a waste of money!

It got a hole during the first try! The quality was just cheap and not durable at all. Fit wise, I felt like the band under the booty didn’t really lift or have any support , just left a strange dent

This was an average product for me. I was underwhelmed by the results honestly. The legs kept rolling up on me and they seemed a little sheer. It was a little uncomfortable on the thighs when I walked wearing this under my dress.

Loved these so much when I first purchased that I purchased 3 more pair. Purchased to wear under my sundresses. I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve worn more than 10-15 times and they no longer stay up. They roll all the way down in the front, thought I’d try again but now rolls down in front and back! I paid A LOT of money for these and am so disappointed. Maidenform’s warranty stinks. Will not purchase from them again. Will try another brand

I loved the fit and everything except it didnt last to long

I had a mixed review of the Maidenform shape wear that I received from Maidenform and Influenster for free in exchange for my honest review.

Here are the Pros:

-Great quality

-Holds you in

-Smooths you out

-Good compression

-Makes dresses and other outfits look better

-Makes you appear slimmer

-I like that these come in black because I don’t usually like the look of beige when I undress infront of the hubs.

-Cute see-through design on the shorts that hubby liked 😉

Here are the Cons:

-They rolled up terribly making them uncomfortable because I was constantly wanting to adjust, tug, and smooth out

-Too much coverage making it so I could only wear the shorts for this cut out body con dress

-Would have preferred a thong back to avoid lines showing

Overall really liked this product and appreciated the increased brand awareness for Maidenform. Even though the pros way out numbered the cons, the cons made the product uncomfortable enough that I would rather just be who I am and embrace my body as it is, but I know not everyone feels that way. If you are looking for a great alternative to Spanx at a better value, look no further!

The shorts got a better review than the cami from me because I did like how it compressed my lower belly/c-section tummy. They were more versatile to wear and not as uncomfortable.

This is SO THIN so I wondered if it would do anything for you, but BABY THAT LIFT!!! I am so impressed! Very comfortable to wear ALL DAY! These are VERY SHEER so if you’re used to coverage you’ll need panties!
