    Introducing calm, relaxation and a great big hug, all wrapped up in one lovely weighted blanket. The Silentnight Weighted Blanket is natural sleep therapy at its best. This weighted blanket helps to relax the nervous system giving the gentle sensation of being hugged which eases anxiety, stress and encourages deep and restful sleep. Wrapping yourself in the blanket increases happy hormones (serotonin and melatonin) and at the same time decreases stress hormones (cortisol) to improve your mood, ensuring you fall asleep feeling content and happy.

      It’s taken me 3 years to finally talk myself into getting one of these. I got the 9kg weighted one (suggested for my body weight/type) and I actually feel it’s not heavy enough for me. I tend to use it more for across my legs which does help when I feel fidgety and unsettled. It doesn’t do anything for my upper body and I’m quite tall so it doesn’t actually cover me shoulders to feet. The quality is great the material feels really nice and it looks great!
