    Review Summary

Natural, elegant design with a dense, durable material and a lovely thickness. The size is generous, the texture pleasant, and the whole thing sits well on the table. A few reviews mention a persistent smell, imperfect finish, a sometimes rough texture and fibres coming away, with some finding it too thick.

      Durable and well-made Jute

Although Jute is commonplace when it comes to placemats, these are very well made, with tight stiching and no fraying.

.GREAT VALUE BUT SADLY TOO BIG.

I really liked these placemats but our table is 80 x135 and these placemaats are too big for it. They are great value in the sale and I would recommend them if you have a bigger table. They are a lovely neutral colour.

      Beautiful

Lovely placemats well made. I have sent back as they were rather large for my small table.

      Very smelly!

Look lovely but the strong barn smell is really not nice!

Good product if you only need 4!

I bought two sets as I needed 8 placemats, however they are completely different colours. I understand that it being a natural product this can happen, however it isn’t mentioned anywhere on the product description. One of them is also very tightly woven compared to the others so looks noticeably different as well as the colour. I would recommend if you only need 4 or if you will be using them outside as the sun will change the colour anyway. Other than that they look great and are just what I wanted.

      Looks great, smells weird

I bought some placemats and they look great - just what I was looking for. However I took them out of the packet and they smelled like dirt - not great for the dinner table and had to be aired out. The delivery was also extremely long.
