    Review Summary

Washed cotton pillowcase with a simple, neat design, often reversible, appreciated for its softness, comfort and fabric quality. Its look and colours are generally considered elegant, with good durability over time. A few customers report a different colour, thin fabric and uneven finishing.

Basile Washed Cotton Pillowcase, check print, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The Basile checked washed cotton pillowcase. This charming pillowcase is made from soft and supple washed cotton. Its graphic check print will create a contemporary atmosphere.
The washed cotton has been delicately bleached during its manufacture. Soft, supple and comfortable, it softens over time. Its slightly wrinkled appearance is incredibly on-trend, and it does not require ironing.

      Not white

I bought these to replace 2 pillow cases that I previously had and to match the check bedding. Unfortunately my original bedding is white and these pillow cases are now cream. Even the description in my order says they are 'WHT/BLK' check which I interpret as 'white and black' but white they are not. Also incredibly expensive per pillowcase. Only got them as on sale. Now being returned.

One pillow case at a time

Paying £14 for a single pillow case in a cost of living crisis, absolutely NOT.

Also the seams aren't hemmed and have a simple stitch which will undo after a couple of washes/wear.
