Hiba 2-Door Metal Low Sideboard - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

OMG ! This was an absolute nightmare for myself and husband to assemble. Read several negative reviews but husband normally has no issues with flat pack furniture so purchased it. Only built today and we will never get those hours back. The unit itself is perfect size and will be very handy as extra storage in our kitchen, lovely colour and nice quality but if had my chance again wouldn’t purchase this due to stress and time required to build it. Instructions very poor indeed 😩

I loved the design and colour of this cabinet - the parts and finish look good and the price very good. However too many negatives: the top piece of the cabinet arrived with a significant dent though still useable; putting it together is tricky - a few additions to the diagrams would make it so much easier; unfortunately the doors do not align on the finished cabinet. See photos below. I did look at other reviews and saw similar comments from others but still went ahead with order - my gamble!!!

Great quality as always with La Redoute. Was really easy to put together, looks great, great colour.

Low quality paint finish, scuff marks and terrible assemblly instructions. Really disappointted and returned it sttaight away.

recently purchased this cabinet and, as expected, it was somewhat difficult to assemble due to the unclear instructions. However, I was aware of this potential issue when purchasing and decided to take the risk. With a little persistence, the effort paid off, and I was able to put it together successfully. It was definitely worth it, especially considering I got it at half price during a sale.

In terms of quality, the cabinet is very sturdy and well-made. If you’re not patient enough to figure out how it all fits together, the assembly process could be frustrating. However, for those willing to spend the time 2hrs, the end result is great.

The packaging was done well, and the product arrived in perfect condition within 10 days, as promised. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone willing to take on a bit of a challenge with assembly.

Once constructed the product seems solid enough, and the finish seems good. The biggest problem is the instructions, they are incredibly difficult to follow, for the first couple of steps you almost need to just put the instructions down and treat the pieces as a jigsaw to solve. No wording, and no clear representation of the pieces in the diagrams. Soured my first experience of your brand and product!

I'm pleased with this. It is sturdy and well made. A little bit tricky to assemble - but actually straightforward in the end. Well packaged and delivered super fast. Great deal in the sale.

I bought two of these in 'Eucalyptus Green'. They aren't the green you see in the images, they are closer to blue. I will throw them out most likely. I have really liked La Redoute to this point.
