Hand Woven Wool & Viscose Border Rug - SO'HOME

This is the second time I have bought this extra large rug, the last one I purchased was 18 months ago so I'm able to give a longer use review. They are very thick, tighly woven and having the shiney viscose border makes them look way more expensive/luxurious than if they were all wool. They do shed wool everyday but going off the one I have had for 18 months this does not in any way effect or change the quality of these fabulous rugs. The sand colour rug is not what I would call sand colour but more a light mushroom/fawn/beige colour. bit I am glad it was not as light as I thought it would be as it has a warm look about it. It's wearing well and considering it's mainly one olour and quite light it's holding up very well with regard to any stains...maybe the daily shedding helps with this. I use a robovac on mine and it hoovers it a treat. It does change colour a bit where there is heavy foot fall but that could be down to dirty shoes or maybe I laid the rug the wrong way but it just think it adds some charather to the rug.

This would have got 5 stars but the colour isn't what I was expecting, however, I'm keeping it because it's beautiful and luxurious so I will find some cushions etc to balance it out. Delivery wasn't great either but that's Evri, not La Redoute

This rug is a tightly woven rug with a viscose border. I thought Sand colour might be too light but it's darker than I thought and I'm very happy with the colour which I would say is more a dark beige/fawn colour. The quality is excellent. Well worth the money for an extra large rug. The depth of pile is also decent.
