    Review Summary

Bleached jute rug with a natural, neat design, often judged to match the photos. The material quality, tight weave, softness and bright look are regularly appreciated, with a lovely presence in the room. Some reviews mention limited durability, fibres that fray, and a colour that is sometimes less true or more yellowed.

      Not good quality

Really disappointed with this rug. It sheds constantly and leaves fibres all over the carpet and sofas every single day, making quite a mess. It’s also already looking tatty after just one month of use. Unfortunately, the quality hasn’t lived up to expectations and I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Rug oxidises to a different colour!

Lovely rug, material as expected. BUT the jute material has ‘oxidised’ is the best way I can describe it. See pictures( shows underside that has not been exposed to sun) When it arrives it was a creamier white, and has gradually developed to a more natural, yellowish beige. Not the end of the world, but something to note if you specifically want a whiter colour.

      It’s not what i expected

This rug doesn’t sit flat, the centre is all crumpled looking and the only reason I’m keeping it is because i have a chest which i use as a coffee table which sits in the centre of it. Otherwise i would send it back.

      Lovely rug

This rug is exactly what we had been looking for, since renovating our guest bedroom, we took up the carpets and now have exposed original floorboards so really needed a nice big rug to cover the area. We are impressed, the delivery was a little longer as it came from France but it was well worth it! 😊 will definitely be buying more…

      Stitching is coming apart!

We have had this rug less than a month and the stitching which holds each segment of the rug together has come away meaning the rug now has gaps in it! Seriously not impressed and will be emailing la redoute today.
