Agura Solid Ash Bed, natural, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

I love the light airy feeling of the bed and the shape of the legs. It feels solid and well crafted. I had some minor issues during construction but La Redoute reacted quickly and constructively.

This bed didn’t disappoint. Made from beautifully styled solid ash wood it has a clean modern feel to it that shouts expensive.

I love that it’s a platform bed so it’s possible to use with a couple of different sized mattresses. Eventually I’ll be buying an EU double (140x200) but currently I’m using my UK king (150x200) it’s it fits perfectly.

The bed is nice and solid. The oak look is not a finish, and that makes it look great!

This is a nice and solid bed. Putting it together was a bit of a pain though, as some screw holes were slightly of the correct spot. I opted for drilling new holes myself, but this would be a pain if you didn't own a drill, like I do. The parcel also arrived damaged, but luckily it was only the slats that were a little dirty, so managed to clean them out.

Generally I am pleased with it though and it was a reasonable price at 40% off.

The frame seems a good quality for the price. Although not terribly hard to put together, I did have to use an impact driver for some of the screws. The mattress sits awkwardly on top instead of slightly below the sides, which I should have realised looking more closely at the pictures again now. Also, don't make the same mistake as me, this is a standard EURO double and bigger than a UK double!! It's my own fault but I regret buying this...
