Fairfield Mid-Century Leather Armchair with Solid Wood Frame - ÉDITÉ

I had looked at this chair a few times before I decided to purchase. I'm so glad that I decided to have it - it fits beautifully in my mid-century style lounge and is a perfect size - proper seat height and depth. The wood is very well finished and the seat is altogether very well made. The seat upholstery is soft and comfortable - it is not as dark as the illustration - more a tan/toffee colour which is lovely. It also arrived fully assembled so no fiddling around - no fault to be found with the delivery or the product.

Really disappointed with this. The image on the website listing shows the leather as dark brown but the upholstery on the chair actually delivered is a much lighter tan colour. If the listing had accurately reflected the colour I’d never have bought this. I’ve contacted customer services but no response yet. Really unimpressed.

I am so pleased I purchased the lounge chair. It is a beautiful design with curved ash arms that wrap around the back of the chair. It is comfortable, with deep seat and back cushions, and covered in high quality leather. The seating position is perfect for tall people, supportive on both the back and legs. The size fits the space perfectly and complements two velvet sofas we have. I cannot fault the chair and purchased it in a sale, making it exceptionally good value.

We purchased two of these for our lounge and they look absolutely amazing. The quality of the wood is spot on, however the leather is somewhat cheaper feeling than I expected...... I thought they would have a nice soft feel, however they have a kind of "plasticky" feel instead.

The only other point to note is that they are slightly smaller than I thought they would be (yes I know the dimensions are listed but its difficult to tell until you see them!). I'm over 6 foot tall and whilst they are comfortable, the base is a bit short for me and doesn't go very far up my back - I kind of feel like I am sat ON the chair rather than IN the chair if that makes sense!

That said, we don't expect to be lounging in them all the time and they look so good we will be keeping them
