Caribou WP Ankle Boots, black, SOREL

The caribou boot does come up big I suggest you go down a size , but what better time to own a pair than in the recent snowfall, I absolutely love them and highly recommend them I have had other boots but nothing as comfortable and warm as sorel caribou.

I found these boots are quite large for the stated size. I am between UK10.5 & 11 and have eventually found the best fit for me is UK9.5! That said they seem an excellent product and have kept my feet toasty warm when out and about in the recent snow.

I got a pair of Caribou as a present one winter. They are fantastic boots. Comfortable, warm and waterproof. The sizing? Poor. I wear 11 for all my shoes so got that. After a month these were a size 12 at least. 4 socks later when the liner settles down they were boats on my feet. Don't get me wrong, I love my sorels. Unfortunately contrary to reports they do not last for 30 years. Mine perished after 2 years, I'm lucky if I wore them for 4 months as winter is not that long. The rubber around your toes bends as you walk and these creases stress the material which causes cracks. Then the boots get left in the cupboard for most of the year and then taken out again. I think they deteriorate during this period. Anyway mine cracked and let in water just above the sole. I did contact Sorel at the time to ask if this could be expected. I got no response, make of this what you will. This said I have bought another pair, a size smaller than my size and only because they were half price. I think they will fit, I know they are warm and dry, I am aware they will not last 2 years. But at half price they might be worth it.

i find these reviews incredible. People have had the same boots for 30 years!!! This speaks volumes for the quality of them. Bought mine this year as we are getting snow more frequently in the UK. I absolutely love my boots - and was delighted at being able to wear them today.... Total grip, warm as toast utterly superb I am a convert.
