      The sensor doesn’t always work, I’ve put brand new batteries in but it doesn’t work as it should.

      Looks good and useful to be able to open the bin without touching it. I feel it would be better if the bin stayed open until you triggered the sensor rather than it self closing after 5 seconds. There's often not enough time to scrape a plate or whatever and you haven't got a hand spare to keep operating the sensor so that the lid remains open.

      The bin is very flimsy. _x000D_

      When taking out the black bin liner it gets caught every time and rips the bin liner all around so once it is out you have to quickly put it in another bin liner. We would not buy it or recommend it

      The automated, infra-red, battery-operated, sensor-driven, up-and-down, flip-top lid is cool. But the bin itself is made of very weak metal and started to creak, dent, bend, and split at the pseudo-welded seam from day 1. The thin (canister) metal is just not strong enough for an everyday family bin. Pulling full bags of rubbish out, you can see the flimsy metal bulging and straining to not break! It is a high-price, low-quality dustbin. Would not recommend in its current design.
