    Review Summary

A much-loved sideboard with a classic design, often praised for its neat appearance and sturdy wood look. The material quality and storage capacity are regularly commended. However, several reviews note a fragile finish, ill-fitting parts and difficult assembly due to unclear instructions.

      Exceeded my expectations

It's solid and sturdy. The color is lovely. I agree with other reviews that characterize it more as a deep teal. The installation was a bit of a task but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am very happy with the purchase.

Assembling this item is hard work

I've assembled many items of furniture but this has to be the most fiddly I've done. The sideboard came together in the end but I had to re-drill the holes for the hinges so that the doors could fit properly.

As for the finish, it's good but not great. The colour, dark blue-green or teal, is very dark and consequently dominates our hall.

      POIRET Solid Pine Unit

Very pleased with the item. I think it is more teal blue. Very difficult to assemble as the panels were not numbered. Assembly instructions were clear but as they referred to numbered panels it was difficult to know what panel to use. This is the reason I awarded 4 stars instead of 5. Good quality however and heavy piece of furniture.

      Disappointed

Delivered Friday, constructed Sunday, took hours, 10mm gap between doors with no room for adjustment, very disappointed.
