    Mutanya Hand Woven Wool Rug, terracotta, AM.PM

    The comfort and softness of wool, sublimated by the original shades of a handmade tie and dye colouration. The skeins of wool are twisted and then immersed in successive colour baths.
    The wool is randomly dyed in multiple shades, creating subtle gradations of colour. Hand-woven by expert craftsmen, each rug is a unique piece, a guarantee of exacting craftsmanship and exceptional quality. A timeless and authentic creation by AMPM.

    Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years.
    Genuine decorative elements offering thermal and acoustic insulation, they add a unique and warm touch to your home furnishings.

    Quality Info
    Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. As well as being hard-wearing and durable over time, wool rugs provide acoustic and thermal comfort.

    Care Advice
     •  Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is normal, because the carpet "bursts" by rejecting its excess fibres. Remove lint as much as possible by hand and definitely do not use the vacuum cleaner in brushing mode because this has the effect of pulling the fibres and tearing them out.. The pilling will improve over time.
     •  We advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much, always without using the brush.
     •  Remove stains immediately with a clean damp cloth.
     •  Dry clean recommended.

      Really gorgeous colours

      Fantastic Rug

      I wasn’t initially sure about the colour as it’s hard to tell online what something will look like in real life. Very grateful for the person who posted their review with an image of their cat on the rug! The colours are exactly as shown in their photos and suits my dark floorboards perfectly. It even seems to have made my room feel larger. It’s a fairly thick rug and I love the bobbly texture. I like the fact that it’s wool which should naturally repel some dirt. It looks very good quality and I was pleased to be able to purchase it at a discount. Absolutely recommend.
