Hiba Bench in Solid Oak, natural, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The bench looks good, but we just couldn’t get many of the screws to screw in totally (and to be flush with the metal frame). Several screws stick out a little which means the bench seat isn't as tight to metal frame as I’d like. The screws are underneath the bench so you can’t see this issue.

The bench is nice and fits in our house, not bad for the price purchased. I have to say i'm a bit disappointed with quality of the assembly points. A couple of the screwholes were still welded and i had to drill them. Also the plank doesn't have any insert holes, so i have to drill them as well. How would they think somebody could just use the key to fit those screws inside a oak think board, is a mistery to me.

Nice bench, not too easy to assemble because there are no indication where the screws should go, therefore you have to do it for your best judgement, first attempt was wrong and bench was not straight, therefore I had to do it twice. But overrall the product is good quality

I've had the bench for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it. The finish is great, it feels sturdy to sit on, and it fits neatly under the matching table.

There are 2 issues I ran up against:

1) the wood is not pre-drilled, or marked in any way, which means it it entirely up to you to make sure the wood is aligned with the metal. I would also recommend drilling a pilot hole for the screws, as they do not go into the hard wood easily.

2) I have this bench on a tile floor, and it screeches loudly every time it's moved, as the feet on the metal sides are not rubberised and are just metal. Planning to fix this with some felt and adhesive.

A nice solid bench, easy to construct and modern. My only personal criticism is that the top is a little too shiny for my personal taste so I plan to lightly sand down and wax. But overall happy with the bench.

This bench and the matching Hiba table are fantastic quality, impressed with the fact it is hard wood for a reasonable price compared to other retailers. Looks great in our dining room and would definitely purchase again

It's was hard to assemble the screws provided we're too large for the bench. Overall once assembled it looked as expected.
