    Review Summary

Good-quality cotton, appreciated for its elegant, natural design, colours and soft feel. The weave is considered pleasant, the drape decent and the finishing often neat, with a good fit on the bed. Some customers note less faithful colours and a thinner fabric.

It's beautiful, but not practical to use.

I really liked the color, texture, and style of the throw. But its biggest downside is that the fabric sheds and leaves small lint particles (I have the blue throw) on clothes, the floor, and furniture. I used it for a week and constantly had to clean the floor from tiny blue fibers. Then I washed it twice hoping it would improve — but it got worse. It's beautiful, but not practical to use.

Response from La Redoute , 18/11/2025

Hello, thank you for your comment about RAOUL. We are sorry that this item did not meet your expectations. Cotton is a material that could cause some fibre loss when first used, but this will diminish with each wash. Tumble drying could also help to resolve this problem. Please be assured that we take your opinion into account and remain very concerned about the quality of our products. La Redoute wishes you a pleasant day and hopes to see you again soon!

      Super nice bed/sofa cover

Beautiful color, and fabric with great texture. It is supposed to be 180x230 cm, but in fact, it is 170x240cm. A little bit too narrow for our bed, but looks good and has great quality. It will work perfectly as a sofa cover, as the fabric is thick and strong, and will handle every day sitting on it.
