      Didn't love it

      Have been admiring this cover for ages & eventually bought it. Delivery was slow, over a week and the cover was disappointing. Colour is insipid and the fabric is not soft. For the price I'd expect better quality

      But disappointing

      Most duvet covers do come with pillow cases and so I assumed this would too. Not the case. Which means it’s not such a good buy. Probably won’t use this site for bedding again

      Love it!

      Last year I bought the Grues Bird 100% Cotton Percale Duvet Cover in teal and now I just bought the same design in pink blush. The colours look a little bit more "quiet" -and therefore more elegant if you ask me, but that's quite subjective- compared to the pictures of the website. The main reason though I'm writing this review, is the fact that this particular fabric repels dog hair! I know that dog people will be happy to know this.

      A few gripes but I'm keeping it!

      The opening to insert your duvet is very small… Quite awkward to squeeze it through the gap! Double duvet fits well once it's fiiiinally in. For perspective, the lower edge is 200cm wide and the opening is only 70cm so way less than half opens. It might be a manufacturing flaw as it looks like a gap for a single duvet.There is a per minute charge to call La Redoute so I’m not calling to find out.

      The fabric feels luxurious, cool and smooth although it is very thin. Bought this because it’s 100% cotton and I wouldn’t really expect thicker cotton fabric for the price. Colours just like the images – more of an orangey coral than pink blush and the blue is quite a grey-blue.

      The contrast edging is a stylish feature and the print design is beautiful so despite the opening being so small I’m keeping it!
