1B99 Virginia Calf Boots in Leather, black, DR. MARTENS

The boots were incredibly small fitting. This was not mentioned anywhere…. Every other dr martens that I have (5 pairs) are all 6.5 and are too big. This 6.5 felt like a 5.5. Also the delivery took so long. Very disappointing,

I am really disappointed in these boots. Visually, they are great - I have been wearing Doc Martens for years and have never had issues with sizing - but these are so narrow, despite loosening the laces, I can hardly get my feet into them. The quality of the leather feels poorer than the usual Doc Martens standard, as they are surprisingly very lightweight and don't feel very hardwearing. Other comments mention similar issues - I wonder if there is a general design and fit issue with these boots. Sadly I have to return them.

Lovely boots however my daughter had her usual size they fit in length but very tight across foot due to stitching , she tried the next size up these were the same only too big in the foot unless you have an unusually narrow foot these would be very painful to wear , had to return both pairs and daughter is very disappointed

These are the 2nd pair I have bought after struggling for a long time with the smaller size. My advice would be to size up. Which I have done and I am finding it easier to break them in. You’ll need compede! They are such gorgeous boots and go with loads of my outfits so worth persevering with.

These boots are so soft, that I wore them straight away without any rubbing. They also look great on.

They are not good, they are perfect !!!! I don’t think I’ve ever put comfier boots on my feet … and they look great !!!

I would recommend going a size down tough - I am usually a size EU40 (UK 6.5/7) and my usual size was too big. I’ve got EU39 (UK 5.5/6) and they fit perfectly.

You can never go wrong with Docs. Bought these because my old Dr Martens boots finally reached end of life after over 10 years or regular wear.

of the shoe are beautifully made with attention to the smallest details. shoes are comfortable and look great both with trousers and skirts. I am delighted with the quality of workmanship.
