This season, we have been finding out what some of our favourite people carry around with them in their bag. Now it is the turn of Karen, the Style Nurse, as she takes us through her must-haves.
As a busy Mum to 2 teenage girls, working as a nurse and a stylist, a large bag is an absolute necessity in my daily life. Whether I am running around doing errands on my day of, meeting with a client for a day of styling/shopping or a typical day as a practice nurse in a busy surgery, my bag is my absolute lifeline, carrying everything I need to get me through the day.
Of course I also like it to look good too, so you can imagine my delight when I found this, the perfect bag from La Redoute which incidentally will also be perfect for travelling as we approach the busy summer holiday season. I think you will love it too…
Firstly, it’s metallic gold so it glistens in the beautiful sunshine, making you look super stylish! It’s practical and light weight, made from sustainable 100% leather.
The leather is absolutely beautiful and so soft meaning you can fill the bag as you desire and it will work around you. I told you it was perfect!!
So what do I take with me on a typical day…
Always my trusty refillable coffee cup so I can fill up on the go, this one is actually from La Redoute too.
Notebook and pen - I am rather fond of a list, it’s the only way I can trust myself to keep on top of everything!
Sunglasses - an obvious essential and these Celine ones are my favourite
Deodorant - it gets hot in the city in summer!
Nursem antibac spray, this comes everywhere with me! I particularly love this one as it doesn’t leave a greasy film on your hands after use
A few make up essentials to top up, my everyday faves include this Chanel bronzer and a Glossier lipgloss.
