Getting cosy for Christmas with @leannesarahstyle

Let’s get cosy; Christmas is coming!

Hello and happy Christmas! My name is Leanne, I’m a wife and mum of two energetic young girls.  After working for almost 10 years in Recruitment, I decided to follow my dream and pursue a career in fashion. Currently, due to lifestyle constraints, my online fashion blog has been confined to the backburner.  Instagram, fortunately, hasn’t suffered the same fate. I post fashion inspiration and tips almost daily from my account @leannesarahstyle. 

For me in terms of fashion, 2020 has been the year of the loungwear.   With everything that has happened this year, many of us have been spending more time at home.  Personally that has meant a lot of my focus, when buying new clothes, is what I’m going to feel comfortable wearing around  the house. My new loungewear / nightwear is now an extension of my wardrobe and whilst comfort is key, the look has become just as important. How good it feels to have my slippers compliment my dressing gown! 

Christmas is a great time to invest in new lounge / nightwear, a new pair of PJ’s is forever top of my Christmas list and I always give loungewear as presents too, my children love a new pair of pyjamas for Christmas!  La Redoute has a great collection and I have picked a few items that would definitely make my Christmas wish list. 

 

First is this Long-Sleeved Onesie, this looks like a stylish jumpsuit but is so comfortable it’s perfect for cosy nights on the sofa.  I love the soft grey and the tie belt detail.  This would be a great one to wear on Christmas day, I always put my PJ’s on after Christmas lunch (if not before!) and I wouldn’t feel like I was losing any fashion points changing into this one. 

 

Next up is this Long-Sleeved Bathrobe, this is so fluffy and warm it’s the perfect winter layer. The darker grey complements the lighter grey tone of the jumpsuit so they work really well together. 

Finally and sticking with the grey theme, I have chosen these Slipper Boots, they are extremely comfortable to wear and I love how together with the onsie and bathrobe they have created a tonal look that not only feels super comfortable, but also looks stylish. 



I think I have my Christmas outfit sorted!
