      It's only OK

      I bought this to replace another Morphy Richards steam generator iron that had lasted ages but finally gave up. Unfortunately I don't really enjoy using this iron at all - the steam doesn't immediately start when needed, but continues on after the button is released, so steam continues to pump out for a few seconds when not being used; It's annoying that the iron has to be put back onto the base each time it needs to be put down, i.e. when turning a garment on the ironing board as the iron has no base to stand on; but the most annoying thing is the sole plate, which doesn't easily glide along the material being ironed, and will work not at all with the mesh ironing cloth I occasionally use, but drags the material along. This is the only iron I've ever used that does this. On the plus side, it's well made and sturdy, and I trust Morphy Richards products, but honestly if I find my previous model, the Power Steam Elite on offer, I'm just going to cut my losses and buy it, which I wish I had this time!

      A little disapointing

      Not as good as our previous Morphy richards iron , spits out every time used on forst item , has no spray button for stubborn creases and when you replace iron water collects at the bottom

      Lovely iron but descaling challenging

      I bought this over a month ago and did quite a bit of research before purchasing. It is a great iron, easy to use all but when you come to descale., the instructions are not clear as to how to do this. I did eventually manage to do this after lots of reading and re-reading.
