    This KitchenAid Artisan 125 has 10 speeds to give you the precision you need for the job in hand. Just move the speed control lever and let the stand mixer take over. Choose from speed 1 for a gentle stir, up to 6 for beating and creaming, and 10 for fast whipping. In fact, you can get perfectly whipped cream in less than a minute(2). From mixing cake batter for baking to whipping up meringue or kneading dough, just select your accessory and speed and off you go! The tilt-head construction of this mixer makes things super easy. Just lock the bowl into place, pop in your chosen beater and lower the head. Slide the speed lever to start, it’s as simple as that! When you’ve finished, you can put the bowl, paddle (also called a flat beater) and dough hook in the top rack of the dishwasher and hand wash the whisk in warm soapy water. The accessories all fit neatly inside the bowl when your mixer is not being used. Job done.       Excellent gadget that will get used.

      Best piece of kitchen equipment I’ve had. I bought the pastry beater as I do a lot of pastry, it mixes it far better than a previous food processor I owned. I also bought the sifter and scale, it’s one add on that’s a must.

      My only negative is, I bought the official easy beginners recipe book and the measurements are all American cups and we use grams and litres or the old imperial.

      Replacement

      I cannot remember how long I had my last KitchenAid but all good things must come to an end! It worked so hard for so many years for me and I knew I could not manage without it! So along comes KitchenAid number two, exactly the same colour, exactly the same model, exactly the same features but just a bit more sprightly and up to date! Buying at the sale price was an incentive and it is already working away for me making my weekly bread, along with cakes and other homemade goodies. I wonder if this one will see me out!

      Replacement Mixer

      I ordered the Kitchen Aid mixer as replacement for one that we had had for nearly twenty years. As it had served us well my wife and I readily decided to upgrade to newer machine. It joins our other Kitchen Aid products in our house and hopefully last just as long.
